How does it work?

All qualifiers and Championships will be run under BD rules in regards to tack and dress. Full list of BD rules can be found on the BD website in the members handbook at www.britishdressage.co.uk.

How to qualify

At each qualifier competition competitors will win points in respect of where they are placed.

1st - 100 points

2nd - 75 points

3rd - 50 points

4th - 35 points

5th- 25 points

6th- 15 points

7th down - 5 points

The top 20 competitors with the most points at the end of the qualifiers will qualify for the Championships! A running total of the points will be available to view online at www.leylandcourt.co.uk under the Events tab so you can keep up with where on the leader board you are.

The tests will all be BD dressage tests. The tests at the Championships will be long arena tests.

Whips will be allowed at the Championships!

Veteran Prizes

The minimum age for the veteran horse is fifteen years old.

Centaur Massage Therapy

Centaur Massage Therapy is based in the beautiful estate of Charlton Park in Malmesbury and is owned and run by Emma Leigh-Goodall. 

 

Emma is a fully qualified Sports and Clinical Therapist, having initially trained with Cotswold Academy and most recently Core Elements to obtain her Level 5 Diploma as a Clinical Therapist. She is a member of the Complementary Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and the Sports Therapy Organisation both of whom are the main governing bodies for the industry and aim to regulate the profession.

 

She offers a wide range of techniques to ensure each client receives an individual treatment to overcome injuries and remedial issues.

 

Emma also studied Equine Sports Massage with Animal Therapy Solutions, qualifying in 2017 and is registered with the Animal Health Practitioners Register. She enjoys working with both horse and rider to ensure the partnership is biomechanically in sync. She is offering a prize to the highest placed rider who is fifty years and over.
